Our pre-fall couture ’19 collection takes up the walls on a millennial side.”The modern Indian bride is someone who is global. Regal jackets, contemporary blouses and our panelled lehengas adorned with vintage floral embroideries reminiscent of stone carvings and the royal courts; motifs taken from the Havelis of yesteryear; decadent zardozi; a recollection of the grandeur of royal India in a colour palette ranging from foliage green, Prussian blue and crimson red to subtle ivory, blush pink and mint green.

The collection transports you back in time, amalgamating the opulence of royal India from the 17th century. Referring to the age-old times, and allowing a glimpse of beautiful arts and crafts prevalent in those days. During that time there weren’t many wars or conflict, and the royals and the courtiers had a lot of time to build unique pieces of jewellery and clothing for themselves. It was one of the most creative eras in history and we are taking our bride back to that.

We have brought together many different elements, embroideries, and kaarigari to come to this wonderful collection. There’s aari work, Peeta and silk thread embroidery along with sequin work, and dusty pastel colours to compliment the gold zardozi work. We intend to connect our modern-day millennial bride to a maharani’s lifestyle in the 17th century.
